The Last of Us Season 2 stormed back onto HBO last week, reuniting fans of the video game adaptation with Pedro Pascal‘s Joel and Bella Ramsey‘s Ellie. The new season of The Last of Us takes place five years after the harrowing events of Season 1. Joel and Ellie have settled in a community of survivors in Jackson, Wyoming. They might be safe, but their relationship is far from sound. The two are on the outs for some reason (probably related to the fact that Ellie found out Joel massacred the Fireflies in Salt Lake City to save her). What neither of them know is someone else is really pissed at Joel for his actions in the Season 1 finale.

New character Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) and her friends have spent the last five years hunting Joel to Jackson to take their revenge. We first meet Abby, Manny (Danny Ramierez), Mel (Ariela Barer), Nora (Tati Gabrielle), and Owen (Spencer Lord) in the first five minutes of The Last of Us Season 2. They are the only surviving Fireflies from Salt Lake City and understandably want Joel to suffer.

Will Abby confront Joel this week? Could we see Dina (Isabela Merced) go in for a (sober) kiss with Ellie? What exactly went down between Joel and Eugene? Will anyone else go to therapy this week?
